Jewelry Making with Arielle

Free School is oh so excited to announce our Jewelry Making class coming up on June 23rd! Our instructor, Arielle Brackett, will teach a basic metal-smithing and jewelry project that will give students the opportunity to chose between making a pair of earrings or a necklace. Come prepared to stamp, hammer, fill, hole punch, wire wrap, and assemble your very own piece of jewlery, oh boy!

About out instructor:

Arielle Barckett is a metalsmith and mixed media artist based in Portland, OR. She received her BFA in metals at the Oregon College of Art and Craft. Backett was awarded best in metals at the Colorado Gallery of the Arts in Littleton, Colorado and the Art Center of Estes Park at Estes Park Colorado. Brackett recently finished a large wearable piece for the runway show, Exhibition in Motion, that took place in Chicago in May 2019 at the Society of North American Goldsmiths conference. Aside from her studio practice, Brackett is building her art community.
