Vanessa Robertson-Rojas has worked for several years as an ecologist on various habitat restoration projects. Her work has primarily revolved around wetland habitats that require plant survey, wildlife survey, soil characterization, hydrology monitoring, among many other habitat metrics. She has worked with the Mt. St. Helen’s institute, The Nature Conservancy, The Conservation Trust of Puerto Rico, and has conducted funded research for the National Science Foundation. She also likes to skateboard, make art, and dance often. She believes science and innovation should be accessible to everyone.
